Colour poem

We have been learning about colour poems. A colour poem is a poem that describes what the colour represents.


Gold
Gold is the colour of confidence.
Gold is like a shooting star.  

Gold is like victory.

In class we have been learning about emotion poems. This is a example

Anger

Anger is dark bloody red.
The taste is like dripping stinging blood.
The smell is like burning flames.
It looks like a blazing devil.
It sounds like blazing hell.
It feels like the devil is inside you.

Free verse poem

DOGS
Dirty dogs playing ruff.
I might even start to bluff.
I wished that they could do other stuff.
They have so many habits.
I'd rather have some rabbits.
I hate the sound when they lick the water.
I'd rather have a silly daughter.

Swimming

This week we had to do an onomatopoeia poem. I did mine on swimming.



SWIMMING

Everyone is getting ready for swimming.
After lunch we stomped back to class.
Stomp, stomp, stomp.
We walk quickly to the bus.
Thud, thud, thud , thud.

When we got to the pool we splashed and sploshed.
Splash, splosh, splash, splosh.
We played games and we had a lot fun.
After a while we had to go!
We walked to the bus.
Stomp, stomp, thud, thud.

When we marched out of the bus.
Stomp, stomp, stomp.

My learning in Term 4

This is my first week back from my holidays. We have been doing a lot of work during this week. This week we went for some swimming lessons and we also built some structures. Swimming was really fun we got to play some games and we also had to do some freestyle. Me and my team mates had to make a building with 60 cm of sticky tape and 30 straws. Unfortunately we didn't finish it.

Speech Finals

I had a speech final at school. Only the top ten from both classes get chosen for the speech finals. The speeches was at my class There were a lot of parents who came to listen and I was a bit nervous doing my speech. When it was over I had to go to the school's new plaza and the judges announced the winners. Unfortunately I didn't win.
